Brand development: YouTube system
I created a dedicated YouTube brand system for Stronghold, extending the company’s visual identity into a more recognizable, scalable framework for video content, thumbnails, channel graphics, and ongoing campaigns.
The challenge
As Stronghold’s YouTube presence grew, the existing visual approach lacked the consistency and structure needed to support a larger content operation.
Thumbnails, channel assets, and video graphics needed to feel unmistakably connected to the Stronghold brand while still being flexible enough to support different topics, formats, and campaign needs.
The challenge was to create a system that improved recognition and consistency without making every piece of content feel repetitive.
The solution
I developed a set of YouTube-specific brand guidelines that translated Stronghold’s core identity into a system designed specifically for video and knowledge-based content.

The guidelines defined thumbnail layouts, typography, color usage, imagery, graphic treatments, channel banners, and supporting visual patterns, creating a clear framework the team could use across different content formats. Rather than designing one-off assets, I built a repeatable system that balanced brand consistency with enough flexibility for experimentation, campaign variation, and future growth.

The outcome
The new guidelines gave Stronghold a more cohesive and recognizable presence across YouTube while making it easier for the team to produce new content consistently.
The system created a stronger visual connection between Stronghold’s video content and broader brand identity, improved consistency across the channel, and provided a scalable foundation for future campaigns and content growth.
It also helped support Stronghold’s growing YouTube presence, which has reached more than 200,000 subscribers.
